Introducing Colin Robert Mills...

Welcome to Colin's Blog. Since Colin has so many fans across the country, we thought we would join the "blogging club" so that we can share pics., videos, etc with all of his friends and family.

Colin was born on Dec. 27, 2008 at 6:48a. He was 8lbs. 7oz. and 20 inches long.

Rob and I were admitted to the hospital on Friday, Dec. 26 at around 11pm. Luckily we had a relatively easy delivery and were told "It's a boy" at 6:48a. As you can see we are in love with our new son, Colin Robert Mills. Of course we are biased, but isn't he the cutest?

Rob and I were lucky enough to have his parents in town when we delivered, so they were able to visit their first grandson the day he was born. Not to mention our furry boys who were at home, Winston and Snickers were completely spoiled while we were at the hospital. We were able to bring Colin home on Monday, Dec. 29 and wow has it been a whirlwind ever since.

The Mariers came over on Monday after we got home from the hospital to meet Colin. It was so nice to see them and they brought us dinner! We were so thankful. Here is a pic. of all of the kids. Kate was even able to hold Colin.

Colin had his first pediatrician appt. on Tuesday, Dec. 30 as the Dr. was a little concerned that he was a bit jaundice. His check up went well and although he is down 1lb. he is eating well and doing all the bodily functions properly that a newborn should do.

Currently my sister, Aunt Becky and her boyfriend Shawn are in town meeting Colin. We are so lucky to have help in these early stages. Overall bringing Colin home has been a great experience. Although we are experiencing the lack of sleep and have gone through plenty of diaper and wipes at this pt. in time. But that is to be expected.

Bare with me as I learn how to update this blog. However I will do my best to continue to update it with new info. and pics as often as possible.

As you can see, while I am starting this blog, Rob and Colin are catching up on their sleep. Again, just another instance of how cute Colin is. He loves his Daddy!
